Shobhayatra — Special Activities for Children — 6:00 PM

The Shobhayatra is a joyful devotional procession celebrating the childhood pastimes and divine glory of Lord Krishna. It is a cherished tradition that brings families and the community together through bhajans, music, devotion, and cultural celebration while inspiring children to develop a loving connection with Krishna from a young age.

Families are invited to dress their children as Lord Krishna, Radha, Gopas, or Gopikas and participate in our colorful Shobhayatra beginning at 6:00 PM. We encourage all participating children to arrive 30–45 minutes early in costume for assembly before the procession begins.

Uriyadi — 6:45 PM

Uriyadi is one of the most beloved Janmashtami traditions, inspired by Lord Krishna's playful childhood pastime of joyfully breaking the butter pot. More than a game, Uriyadi reminds devotees of Krishna's innocence, divine playfulness, and the happiness that comes from living a life filled with devotion and love.

Immediately following the Shobhayatra, families are invited to enjoy our exciting Uriyadi celebration beginning at 6:45 PM. This fun-filled community event brings children and families together to conclude our Sri Krishna Jayanthi Mahotsavam with laughter, celebration, and the joyful spirit of Lord Krishna.
