Three Days of Devotion to Lord Krishna
Sri Krishna Jayanthi Mahotsavam is the temple's grand three-day celebration honoring the divine birth and childhood glory of Lord Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. This year, the mahotsavam runs Thursday, September 3 – Sunday, September 6, 2026.
The celebration opens with Janmashtami Krishna Puja on Thursday, September 3, followed by the Santhana Gopala Homam and Sri Radha Krishna Kalyanam on Saturday, September 5, alongside a Nada Samarpanam music program.
The mahotsavam concludes on Sunday, September 6 with Sri Guruvayurappan Navakabhishekam and Narayaneeyam chanting, the Krishna Utsavam, and special Shobhayatra & Uriyadi activities for children, bringing families together to celebrate the divine playfulness of Lord Krishna.
