Nine Nights of the Divine Mother
Sharada Navarathri Mahotsava is the temple's nine-night celebration of the Divine Mother in her many forms, culminating in Vijaya Dasami. This year, the festival was observed from September 10 – October 1, 2025.
The mahotsava featured nine days of Chandi Parayanam alongside a Chandi Homam, invoking the Devi's protective and victorious energy. Ayudha Puja honored tools and instruments of livelihood, while Saamuhika Vidyarambham welcomed young children into the world of learning through a group ceremony blessed by the Goddess of knowledge.
The Kanya & Kumari Puja honored young girls as living forms of the Divine Mother, and the festival closed with Nada Samarpanam, a musical offering marking Vijaya Dasami, the victory of good over evil.
