Sri Srinivasa Mahotsava 2026
Sri Srinivasa Mahotsavam is a three-day celebration dedicated to Lord Srinivasa (Sri Venkateswara), bringing together sacred Vedic rituals, devotional chanting, Homams, and the celestial Sri Srinivasa Loka Kalyanam. Throughout the Mahotsavam, devotees have the opportunity to participate in powerful ceremonies that invoke the blessings of Lord Venkateswara for peace, prosperity, good health, family harmony, and spiritual progress.
This year's Mahotsavam will be celebrated from August 14–16, 2026, at Sri Ganesha Temple, featuring Kalasha Sthapana, Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam, Vishwa Shanthi Yagnam, Purusha Suktha Homam, Ashta Lakshmi Homam, Sri Srinivasa Loka Kalyanam, and the grand Maha Sudarshana Mandala Puja & Sudarshana Yagnam. Sponsorships of $101 and above include special Tirupati Laddu, Vada, and Shesha Vastram.
Friday, August 14 — Kalasha Sthapana & Ashta Lakshmi Sri Suktha Parayanam

The Mahotsavam begins with 108 Kalasha Sthapana, accompanied by Ganesha Prarthana, Viswaksena Puja, and Punyahavachanam, invoking divine purity and sanctifying the sacred rituals that follow. The evening continues with the Ashta Lakshmi Sri Suktha Parayanam, a powerful recitation dedicated to the eight forms of Goddess Lakshmi, seeking blessings for prosperity, health, success, wisdom, courage, abundance, and family well-being.

Vishesha Tirumanjanam is the sacred ceremonial Abhishekam performed for Lord Sri Venkateswara with devotion and Vedic chanting, followed by Special Alankarams, Ashtothara Archana, Nivedhyam, and Deeparadhana.
Devotees then collectively chant the Vishnu Sahasranamam eight times during the Ashta Siddhi Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam, seeking Ashta Siddhi — the eight divine blessings of spiritual strength, protection, wisdom, and grace — followed by Sri Venkateswara Nija Roopa Darshanam, Deeparadhana, and Prasadam.
The Vishwa Shanthi Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Yagnam is a rare community fire ritual performed collectively by devotees while chanting the Vishnu Sahasranamam, offered for world peace, universal harmony, and the welfare of all beings. It is followed by the Purusha Suktha Homam (based on the Purusha Sukta of the Rig Veda, glorifying Lord Narayana as the Cosmic Being) and the Ashta Lakshmi Homam (invoking the eight divine forms of Goddess Lakshmi for wealth, courage, education, success, food, progeny, victory, and spiritual abundance), concluding with Maha Poornahuthi, Deeparadhana, and Mahaprasadam. Advance registration is required for the group Parayanam and Yagnam.
The day concludes with the Sri Srinivasa Loka Kalyanam, the divine celestial wedding of Lord Srinivasa with Sri Devi and Bhu Devi, followed by Kalyana Bhojanam. Sponsors of the Kalyanam receive the opportunity to participate in Kanyadanam, Vastra Danam, and Mangalya Samarpanam.
Sunday, August 16 — Maha Sudarshana Mandala Puja & Sudarshana Yagnam

The Mahotsavam concludes with the Maha Sudarshana Mandala Puja and Sudarshana Yagnam, one of the most powerful Vaishnava rituals dedicated to Lord Sudarshana, the divine discus of Lord Vishnu, performed to remove negative influences, protect devotees from unseen obstacles, restore health, and invoke divine protection for individuals, families, and the community. The ceremony concludes with Maha Poornahuthi, Deeparadhana, and Mahaprasadam.
