Three Days of Sacred Worship for Lord Srinivasa
Sri Srinivasa Mahotsavam is a three-day celebration dedicated to Lord Srinivasa (Sri Venkateswara), bringing together Vedic rituals, devotional chanting, homams, and the celestial Sri Srinivasa Loka Kalyanam. This year, the mahotsavam runs Friday, August 14 – Sunday, August 16, 2026.
The mahotsavam opens Friday evening with Kalasha Sthapana and the Ashta Lakshmi Sri Suktha Parayanam. Saturday brings a full day of worship — Vishesha Tirumanjanam, the Ashta Siddhi Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam, the Vishwa Shanthi Yagnam with Purusha Suktha Homam and Ashta Lakshmi Homam, and the Sri Srinivasa Loka Kalyanam, the divine celestial wedding of Lord Srinivasa with Sri Devi and Bhu Devi.
The celebration concludes Sunday with the Maha Sudarshana Mandala Puja and Sudarshana Yagnam, invoking Lord Sudarshana's protection for devotees, families, and the community. Cultural music and dance programs accompany the mahotsavam on Saturday and Sunday.
