Facility Guidelines

  1. Temple facilities are available upon approval. In order to be considered for approval, an event must comply with the following criteria: Community, Cultural, Devotional, Literary, Religious, and Spiritual.
  2. The facility can be used on a “As Is Basis”. No professional decorations from outside vendors are provided.
  3. The facility is only available during temple opening hours from 8.30am to 12:30 pm and 5:30pm to 8:30pm on Mon-Fri, and from 8:30am to 8:30pm on Saturday and Sundays.
  4. Your event cannot be used for fundraising and money cannot be collected inside or outside the venue.
  5. Modular Building is used for religious practices not limited to but includes Weddings, Seemantham, Upanayanam, etc, however the temple will not allow any homas or havan as we don’t have the infrastructure to exhaust.
  6. The Event Hall has an audio system with 2 mics, 75 chairs, 4 tables and 25 mats. No performance style stage or extra lighting is available.
  7. Food from outside can be catered, so long as it is vegetarian.
  8. Currently, the bathrooms available are inside the temple main area.
  9. Temple priests can perform all rituals as needed. In addition to the facility rental fee, a fee will be charged for priest services. Priest dakshina is NOT included in priest services fees and can be paid directly to the priest following the event.
  10. Please ensure that your event does not disturb the normal temple operations.
  11. At the time of approval, a non-refundable deposit (50% of the cost) is required. A week prior to the event, the remaining 50% must be paid. If you cancel your reservation with 14 days left, the entire non-refundable deposit will be forfeited. Any cancellation made within 7 days of the event will result in the loss of all payments made until then.
  12. A refundable security deposit($200) will be collected during all reservations, and it will be refunded if the place is returned clean and organized at the end of the event. All trash must be collected and removed properly. Chairs, mats, and tables should be returned to their original condition. Items not returned to their original location will be charged a fee based on the effort required to organize and will be deducted from the security deposit. Temple damages that exceed the security deposit will be recovered from the requestor responsible for the reservation. All security deposits are to be paid in Cash or checks, and will be returned within 2 business days after the completion of the event.
  13. Sri Ganesha Temple reserves the right to refuse rental services any time.
