The temple prepares prasadam every Sunday. The temple needs help preparing prasadam, packaging it into to-go boxes, and transporting it from devotees’ homes to the temple. Sunday efforts begin around 10:00 am and continue until 2:00 pm, depending on the workload. After the 12:00 pm Maha Mangala Arati, Mahaprasadam is served.
Additionally, prasadam is prepared for all major festivals and pujas according to the Temple Calendar.
All necessary supplies and gloves will be provided to volunteers during these events.
The temple needs help with decorations, both inside and outside of the temple (Example: rangoli designs, hanging lights, flowers, curtains, garlands), cleaning and polishing puja items, and setting up and taking down each event.
There will be times when the temple needs help with maintenance and cleaning activities. Let us know if you are skilled in any of the key trades (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, carpentry etc).
